This is a free online t-shirt celebrating the history of African American football. The Juneteenth Era was a pivotal event in African American history. Families from all over the region, including many of the enslaved people were participating in this celebration of liberty, freedom and equality for slaves at a time when it seemed every black man or woman had been conquered by slavery.
